Morning Cup

Hi, Ladies. Are you having a great day? I have been very busy, and that's good, cuz it keeps me out of trouble, lol.

So here is today's share. It is a card made with Morning Cup. I am not sure I really like this one, either. Especially since I messed up where the cups are sitting, but
once you put on the ink, you are kinda committed, lol.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I do love this set, and have made several other cards with it. It is a must have for coffee or tea lovers.

Thanks again for coming by today. Don't forget that Sale A Bration is coming so book your workshops today!

Christmas Cards

Hi All. I want to apologize for not posting the last couple of days. Time has definitely been flying past. I just cannot seem to catch up.

Today I want to share one of the Christmas Cards I have received recently. This one is from one of my VC Rocks friends, Debbie Peterson. I think it is just lovely. I know you will, too.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Thanks so much, Debbie, for thinking of me in this busy time of the year. Hope you and yours has a very merry Christmas.

Only 3 more days. Take care, be happy, and Hug the ones you love.

Elf Visit

Only 6 more shopping days to go. Ready or not, here it comes. Merry Christmas!

Today is yet another punch art card. This idea I got from Valita at Valita's Fresh Folds. I just love this card. too cute.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I used Print Pattern DSP in Poppy Parade and Pear Pizazz, along with cardstock in the same colors. Sentiment is from the Tags Til Christmas Stampin' Up! set. The Punch Trio Scallop Circle punch and the Top Note Die for the Big Shot were used for the shoes.

Easy peasy card, and so much fun to make. Have a wonderful day, thanks for dropping in.

Snowman

Hello! It is COLD here in Florida. We are not equipped for this kind of cold. I am dragging out clothing that is 10 sizes too big, just cuz they have long sleeves and wearing them layered over other warm weather clothes. Not sure how you Northerners do it. I hate the heat, but I just don't have enough meat on my bones anymore to stand the cold. I know many of you are experiencing much colder temps with snow, sleet, etc., and I admire you for it, but I am freezing my buns off.
I know, too much info, but I felt I needed to share, lol.

However, I do have another card for you today. In honor of those in the colder states...BRRRRR, I cased this little guy from my friend Ellen Kemper at Blinkin, Thinkin, and Inkin. He is just adorable.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Another blurry picture. sorry about that. Colors used are Whisper White, Real Red and Baja Breeze.

Hope you like this little guy, it's as close to a snowman as I want to get right now. I need some warm weather, people! Have a great day, and keep the fire going. Hugs,

Oh Christmas Tree

The days are very quickly counting down. 9 days 'til Christmas. Hope you are ready.

Time for a little punch art. I got this idea from another demo, and just changed the colors to non traditional to make it more me. Thanks to whom ever it was, as per usual, I didn't write down her name. Lookie:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Sorry for the blur. I took this picture 3 times and all were blurry. I think it may be the user, not the camera causing the blur ;0)

Non-traditional colors used are Concord Crush, Marina Mist, Blushing Bride, and Daffodil Delight.
The Snowflake, Star and Punch Trio Circle were used. Also, lots and lots of White Shimmer Paint Spray.

I like the way this turned out. Hope you do, too. Thanks for stopping by today. Hugs,

Jolly Old Saint Nick

Hello, and happy Wednesday! Only 10 more days 'til Christmas! Can you believe it? The time is just flying by. Hope you have all your shopping done and are starting to really enjoy the season.

Today's post is a card I threw together last night. I was working on a to share, but didn't have the star punch I need to finish it, so I will have to save it for another day....probably tomorrow, lol.

Here is today's card:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This is another one of those cards I really don't like, but they can't all be awesome, lol. It is ok,
but I just don't love it. Maybe someone can gleam some inspiration from it, or at least what not
to do on a card ;0).

As always, thanks for spending a few moments of your day with me today. Comments are appreciated. Come on, ladies, let me know you are out there. I'm just not feeling the love out there in blog land. Have a great day.

Always

No road trip is ever complete without some stamping time. Amy and I carried along some stamping supplies just in case we got bored, or had some extra time to play, and of course, we
found one night when we just couldn't turn in, after playing games all night with her family. So we worked on some calendars for gifts and Amy got the chance to make a birthday card for her Mom.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Now, isn't that a pretty card? We had limited supplies with us, but this really turned out gorgeous, and her Mom absolutely loved it. Amy is really a talented stamper, and it really shows in her work.

Have a great day and come back soon. Be sure to leave Amy some comments on her card. I know she would love to hear them.

Bunny on a Sled

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope all is well and you had an awesome weekend. I LOVE weekends!
Lots of extra time to enjoy the family.

I saw a card on Stampin' Connection that was a Z Fold. I love different folds on cards, so I just had to make one. I used the Merry Crittermas stamp set for this fancy fold card.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This is another look at it and how it folds:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Colors used are Bashful Blue, Real Red, Pear Pizazz, River Rock, Pretty in Pink, and Whisper White. I just loved making this card. It is easy but definitely a wow.

Thanks, as per usual, for dropping in. Comments are appreciated.

A Snow Swirled Christmas

Today's post is the first Christmas card I received this year. It is by my BFF, Amy, and is absolutely beautiful. Lookie:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I love the colors she used. Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, and Whisper White. Stamp set is Snow Swirled. It is almost just like the birthday card she made me that I posted a week or so ago HERE.

It is amazing how different a card can look using the same layout and colors but just changing the stamp set used.

Thanks for coming by again today. Please leave Amy a comment and tell her how much you loved her card.

A Paisley Christmas

Hello all, and thanks for coming by today. I have another short post today, but sometimes short and sweet is the best way to go.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Colors used are Real Red, Garden Green and Whisper White. Stamp set is by Stampin' Up!, of course, and is called Paisley Prints.

Have a great Friday! Comments are appreciated.

Christmas Poinsetta

Hi. I hope you have had a great week so far. I got back from my short road trip on Tuesday evening and I had a great time. It was cold and snowy, and I almost froze to death, lol.

Today's project is a Christmas card with a poinsetta made with the wing from the Bird punch by
Stampin' Up! It isn't my favorite, but it isn't bad. Maybe my mojo stayed in Kentucky. So without further excuses, lol, here it is:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Well, there it is. Not too bad, after all. Thanks for dropping by. Comments are appreciated.

Bells And Boughs Swing Card

Today's share is a swing card. My first attempt at making one, and I just love the way it turned out. I found the instructions from another Demo on Stampin' Connection. I know I say that a lot
but it is such a great site, and Stampin' Up! Demonstrators are awesome! They are always willing to share what they love.

Here is my first, but definitely not last, swing card:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

this is how the swing part works:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

and this is the inside:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I loved making this card. Colors are Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, and Cherry Cobbler. I also used some white Smooch ink on the Bells.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card. Thanks for stopping by. See you again soon.

Timeless Treasures

Well, I am posting this early AM on Friday morning, so that it will be ready to go live while I am
on my little mini vacation. I was so worried about freezing in Kentucky, and here it is in the 30's here in Florida. At the rate it's going, it will be warmer there, lol. Either way, I will let you know when I return.

Today's post is the birthday card I made for Amy's Mom, the reason for the road trip. She loves antiques, so I hope she likes this card.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I just love this color combination. Crumb Cake, Pretty In Pink, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla.
A very vintage looking card. I also used some of the Victoria Lace and one of the new Antique Brads. The Scallop Border punch was used for the bottom. Timeless Treasures is the awesome stamp set I used.

I hope you have a great day. Thanks for spending a few moments here with me.

Another Fox and Friends Christmas

Well, it was bound to happen. Leave me along long enough with my stamps and you know that I will make a card with a bird on it, lol. So here, without further ado, is today's card:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Looks like owl swooped down and stole Santa's hat. I just love the set Fox and Friends, as you know, and will probably be putting Santa hats on some of the other friends, soon. Hat is made from the wing of the Bird Punch, and of course the limb is also punched from it. Colors are Garden Green and Real Red.

Have a great day! Hugs.

File Folder Notebook

Hello again, Well, I should be in Kentucky when this posts, so hopefully I won't be freezing to death, lol. You know this Florida girl will have a hard time staying warm up there in the mountains. I'm not even sure I own enough clothes to keep me warm enough. Oh well, gonna make the best of it and have an awesome time doing it.

Today's post is an altered file folder. And for once, this one isn't made from a Stampin' Up! file folder. I found this one at a store, and it was just perfect for the lady who will receive it. I wasn't sure she would like the cutesy ones I have made with the Play Date folders, even though they are absolutely adorable. I did use retired Groovy Guava card stock in the matching pen, Chocolate Chip card stock on the front under the Vanilla 5/8 satin ribbon.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Isn't it pretty? Wait till you see the inside:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

And the best part, to me, is the bookmark I made. Lookie:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I know it's a little blurry, but I just couldn't get a good picture. Can you tell what I used to make
it? It is the Stampin' Up! Bird Punch. Yes, the wing is both the petals on the flower and the leaves. This came out so much better than I expected it to. I sponged the edges of the flower with retired Groovy Guava ink, then used my Aqua Painter and some Crumb Cake ink to add some realistic lines on the flower petals. I also folded and veined the leaves and sponged them with always artichoke ink. Then spritzed the whole thing with my Champagne Shimmer Paint mist. I liked it so much, I made one for me, lol.

Anyway, thanks again for stopping in. Hope you enjoyed today's project.

Bookmarks for the Boys

Happy Friday! As I mentioned earlier in the week, Amy and I are headed to Kentucky to visit family, and we made some gifts to take along. These bookmarks are for her nephews, both of whom love to read.

The owls are made with the Stampin' Up! Owl Punch, and they are sporting glasses (cuz they are wise) and some rhinestones, cuz every wise owl needs some bling. The other ones are made with a retired set from my stash called By Land.

You know how much I love to give kids bookmarks. I hope they like these.

As usual, I appreciate your support. Stop by again soon. Hugs.

Peaceful Season

Good morning. Hope your Thursday is going great.

I have a card today that I cased from another demo, cuz it was just too pretty. I did use different colors and Designer Series Paper on it to make it mine, but the layout was all her, lol.

Using DSP on a card is something I don't do well, I just hate cutting up that gorgeous paper, so this was a hard one for me. This is the Deck the Halls paper in the Holiday Mini, and if you like it, get it now, cuz you only have until January 3rd, 2011 and then it's gone.

The card stocks and inks used are Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke.

This is just a beautiful card, and so very simple. thanks for looking today. see ya soon.

Contempo Christmas

Can you believe it's December, already? Absolutely amazing! Not sure where the time went and why it went there so fast. Whew!

Today's share is another Contempo Christmas card in non traditional colors. I love how this turned out. I used a retired Stampin' Up! Stockings wheel, Soft Suede, Whisper White and Pink Pirouette card stocks and Inks, and our retired gold cording. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, I believe.

I like the way this one turned out although I had a really tough time on the bow, as usual, lol.

Thanks for stopping in today. Post will be short and sweet for a few days, loads of stuff to do and
a short vacation with my BFF, Amy, to Kentucky to visit her Mom.

Comments, as usual, are very much appreciated. Hugs.

Tree Trimmings

Todays Card is a Christmas card in a slightly different color scheme. Melon Mambo and Silver. I wanted to go non traditional, and this is what I decided on. I got the layout from another Demo on Stampin' Connection, the awesome Stampin' Up! Demo only website. I just love how this turned out.

I embossed the smaller ornaments in Silver embossing powder and the scalloped piece is Brushed Silver card stock.

I hope you like this card. I think I will go back and add some silver cord to the tops of the ornaments or maybe small bows. not sure, but I think it needs something, lol. Anyway.....

Thanks so much for dropping in again today. Comments are greatly appreciated.

Beautiful Birthday Card

Whoohoo! I had a wonderful birthday on Saturday! Today I want to share the birthday card my BFF, Amy, made me. It is absolutely gorgeous! Isn't it?

I was spoiled rotten for my birthday and this card was the icing on the cake, so to speak, lol.

Thanks, Amy, for being who you are, and thanks to all of you for the well wishes.

Have a great Monday! The Christmas card I promised you will be here tomorrow, so see ya then.

Playing Hookie

Sorry, but I am playing hookie today. It's my birthday and I was gonna make a birthday card last night to share today, but got terribly lazy, and didn't. I thought I would share a picture of my cactus blooming in my front yard a few days ago. Isn't it just beautiful? I will be back on Monday with a really pretty Christmas card, but until then, have a great weekend! I am gonna do all the things I want to do today, lol.

Another Come to Bethlehem Christmas Card

Happy Black Friday! If you have stopped in today, I do appreciate you, I know many of you were up at the crack of dawn or even earlier shopping, so thank you for taking time out of your day to visit my blog.

Today's card is a very simple Christmas card using Stampin' Up!'s Come to Bethlehem stamp set. I love this set, but do not own it. Unfortunately, you cannot have them all :o(. I went to my downline, Debbie's home to show her how to stamp on candles and stamped an extra image for me. I really didn't know the words were crooked until I was putting it on my card. So sad.

Take a look:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I used the Faux Silk technique on this card, Night of Navy and Whisper White card stocks and some Gold Waffle Paper. Then added a small Pearl on the star to finish it off.

Hope you have enjoyed today's simple card. And that you are not too exhausted from your shopping. Have a fantastic Friday, see you again soon.

Happy Thanksgiving

Today's share is a 6x6 Scrapbook page. It doesn't use traditional Thanksgiving colors, but I liked the card I shared a few days ago so much, I wanted to make it my scrapbook page this Thanksgiving. Not sure what the smudge is, but it must have been on my camera, cuz it isn't
on the page.

The colors I used for this are More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Rich Razzleberry, and Very Vanilla. I added some hemp twine and an Artichoke Button. The texture on the side is the
Square Lattice die and the sentiment is punched with the Decorative Label Punch.

Thanks so much for visiting today. I will be taking tomorrow off to spend time with my family, so have a very wonderful and happy Thanksgiving, and hug the ones you love.

All in The Family

Hi. Today's post is the matching card for the frame in yesterday's post. I was going to put the two in one post, but couldn't quite figure out how to do it, lol. So you get it today.

Same colors, same cute little girl, same sentiment, and just as darn cute as the frame.

I absolutely love them both. Amy made this card, while I was cutting out and sponging the alphabet in the background of the framed art.

What a great gift this will be for someone special.

Thanks for dropping in today. Come back soon, and hug the ones you love.

All in The Family Catalog Case

Today's share is a direct case from Stampin' Up!'s 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog. Lots of ladies will tell me that they are not creative, and that is why they can't take up stamping. Well, I
just show them the catalog and tell them that all they have to do is look in the catalog for inspiration. That is why all the gorgeous samples are in there. This frame is the perfect example.

We (as in Amy and I) did change it up just a little to adjust to the smaller frame, but otherwise it is the same.

I think this is just too cute. Thanks to Amy for helping me put this together, I can cut out tiny things all day, but lining them up and sticking them down is a whole 'nother issue, LOL.

Colors used are Pear Pizzazz, Bashful Blue, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede and Poppy Parade.

Have a great day. Comments are what bloggers work for, so I would love to read what you think of this project.

SUStars Blog Hop

Welcome to this months SUStars Blog Hop! SUStars is a group of Demonstrators who personify the Stampin' Up! Statement of the Heart. We LOVE what we do and SHARE what we love. There are so many talented ladies on this months hop, so sit back and enjoy.

You have probably hopped here from Denise Foor's blog. She has some amazing projects for this months hop.

I love to use sets for Christmas that are not Christmas cards, so I chose to share a very simple but beautiful Christmas Card today made
with my favorite set of all time, Lovely As A Tree. This set has been my go to set for some many occasions, and it always comes through beautifully.

I stamped the stand of trees and sentiment with Versamark onto Night of Navy card stock then embossed with
Gold embossing powder. I then used White Smooch paint to add some snow to the trees and ground. Brushed Gold Card Stock is my layer. It really brings out the gold embossing. I added
brads to each side of the sentiment, then misted the whole card with Champagne Shimmer spray.

This card is so easy, yet so elegant. You could crank out quite a few of these babies in a short amount of time and everyone would think you spent hours, lol.

Thanks so much for hopping with us this weekend! Your next stop is Vicki Howell's blog, Inky Fingers. I know she is gonna WOW you.

I would love it if you could leave a comment, I do appreciate them all. Have a great weekend and happy hopping.

Snowflakes

As you all know, I live in Florida, so snowflakes are not really something we see, although we did
see some here in Central Florida in 1978, I believe. So, we make ours out of other things, like Whisper White card stock.

This card is very simple using the Snowflake Embossing Folder and Northern Frost Die for the Big Shot. I'm sorry, but not sure those are the correct names. I have everything packed in my car at the moment and am guessing, but they are both in the Holiday Mini Catalog. (yes, I should know, but I'm old, lol)

Colors are Whisper White and Bashful Blue. You cannot see the shimmer here, but I used our Champagne Shimmer Paint in a mist to spray over this card, it is really beautiful. The new Decorator Label Punch is also on this card. It really is my go to punch for sentiments these days, so if you don't have it, you need it. Really.

Have a great Friday. Comments are appreciated.

Yet Another Paisley Prints

Hello, and happy Thursday! Today's card is yet another card made with Paisley Prints. I originally bought this set because I like paisley, and saw it used as the breast piece on my favorite owl punch. Crazy, but true. I have since found that I love this set and have used it a lot. If you visit here often, you already know that. LOL.

This layout and color combo I saw on Stampin' Connection, a website for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. It is just one of the awesome perks to being a SU Demo. You can be one, too, and for only $87.50 through the end of November. AND you will get $310.00 worth of merchandise for your money. An AMAZING deal. Contact me today for more information, or go to my Demo website by clicking on SHOP NOW in my
left sidebar.

Ok, colors used for this card are Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron, Very Vanilla and Always Artichoke. Hope you have
enjoyed this card today and thanks to the Demo for the original idea.

Thanks to you for visiting. I would love to hear what you thought. Hugs,

Lovely As A Tree

What would Christmas be without at least one card made with the Lovely As A Tree stamp set by Stampin' Up!?
I just love the images in this stamp set. They lend themselves to so many occasions, and Christmas is no
excepti0n.
colors used are Bravo Burgundy, Always Artichoke, and Whisper white. I used some Bravo Burgundy grosgrain ribbon, and the Top Note die for the Big Shot, and of course
Dazzling Diamonds to give it some glitter. You can't see it, but both Top Note layers are popped up. It is really stunning in real life, I promise.
thanks for stopping by again today. I truly appreciate you.
hugs,

Amy's Dasher

Good Morning. Today's post is another fabulous card by my BFF, Amy. We had another
mega stamp a thon last night, and this is one of the cards she came up with. I really like it.

Stamp is Dasher, by Stampin' Up! of course, and the colors are Old Olive, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla. Yes, she used my favorite embossing folder again on this one, the Square Lattice.

Hope you enjoyed today's card, leave Amy a message if you liked it, it will make her day.

Have a great one, and thanks for stopping by today.

Another Paisley Prints

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It is all about family, friends, and giving thanks, and I
have so much to be thankful for, so today I am sharing yet another Thanksgiving card made with Paisley Prints.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This set is just so pretty and this card uses some gorgeous fall colors. Cajun Craze, More Mustard, and Old Olive. I also used my favorite embossing folder, Square Lattice.

Thanks so much for coming by today. See you again soon.

Guest Artist, Amy and Fox 's Friend

Today's card was made by my friend, Amy. It is absolutely adorable. I love Fox and Friends and we were talking about it and decided that the Santa hat from the retired Crab & Company would look cute on these little guys, so she decided to try it out and this was the result. Lookie:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Isn't he just too cute? I really like the way this turned out.

Leave Amy a comment and let her know what you think. Thanks for coming in again today.

Christmas Cardinal

Well, today I am going to use one of my very favorite stamps sets. Christmas Cardinal. I love this
very realistic bird. So pretty, I just can't stop using it. Today's card is a simple one, using Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake and Old Olive. Take a look.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I adhered the stamped and colored oval onto the Cherry Cobbler then sent them through the Big
Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. Then added this piece to the Crumb Cake card base. A little sponging and there you have it. Another simple, yet beautiful card.

Thanks, as usual, for dropping by. See you soon.

Honoring Our Veterans

Veteran's Day Poster. Honoring All Who Served This poster was created by j. Luke Borland of the Air Force News Agency. Air Force Link

THE HISTORY OF VETERANS DAY 1918, World War I, then normally referred to simply as The Great War (no one could imagine any war being greater!), ended with the implementation of an armistice [temporary cessation of hostilities—in this case until the final peace treaty, the infamous Treaty of Versailles, was signed in 1919] between the Allies and Germany at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of November, 1918.

My deepest thanks to all who have served. God Bless each and every one.

Peace on Earth

Today's post is a Christmas Card I made using the Level 2 Hostess set in the Stampin' Up! Holiday
Mini Catalog called Peaceful Season. This is an absolutely beautiful stamp set. Look at this beautiful card.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This is a very simple yet WOW card IMHO. I used Whisper White and Marina Mist card stock. The Northern Flurry Embossing Folder for the Big Shot and I know you can't see it in the picture, but this card REALLY shimmers. I used Shimmer Paint to make a mist and sprayed it heavily onto the card. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Thanks for coming in today. Comments are appreciated.

Christmas Collage I Love This Stamp

Ok, today I am cheating. It's as simple as that. I wanted to share the card I made at my last
workshop with the guests at Sunday's workshop, but ran out of the ribbon I used for that card, so I changed it up, but only in the colors and came up with this card:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Everyone knows how much I love Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink together, or Chocolate Chip and almost ANY other color, cuz as my friend Ellen Kemper says, "Everything goes with Chocolate Chip!" But seriously, this card is soooo pretty! The ladies loved it. I used Very Vanilla card stock, then when all the sponging was done, I spritzed the whole card with Shimmer
Paint mist that I made with Champagne Shimmer Paint and Alcohol.

If you would like to get some friends together and learn how to make this gorgeous card, get in
touch with me soon. Time is running out to start on those Christmas Cards.

I appreciate your support, and for taking time out of your busy schedule to stop in. Have a wonderful day.

Paisley Gratitude

Hello Ladies, and Gentlemen, if there are any out there visiting. Today's post is a Thanksgiving
card made with the Stampin' Up! Sets Paisley Prints, Day of Gratitude and Woodgrain. I just
love these sets and fall cards in general, the colors are so warm and inviting, just like homes
during the holidays.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I got this layout and idea from Stampin' Connection, a Stampin' Up! website where Demonstrators can go to share ideas, and talk about everything Stampin' Up! I changed the
card up a bit to make it mine. Different colors, sentiment, and I used the Paisley textured plate for the Big Shot for the Pumpkin Pie layer.

Masculine Card

Hello there, it's FRIDAY!!!!! WhooHoo!! Today's post is going to be short and sweet, cuz I have a lot to do today. I am sharing a card today that I made a while back with a really cool technique, which for the life of me, I cannot remember the name of. Another reason for the short post, lol. This a fantastic masculine card.

I used all Stampin' Up! products on this card, In Basic Black and Vanilla, the Cheesecloth Background Stamp (retired) and another set which I cannot recall the name of, pretty sad,
huh? Anyway, I loved this card, and so did the recipient, my hubby.

Thanks for coming by today. Have a wonderful Friday.

City of David

Today I have a gorgeous Christmas Card made with the City of David set from Stampin' Up! This set is retired, but you could use the Come to Bethlehem set and it would
look really pretty with this layout, too.

This card was made by my friend Amy, it was her Christmas Card last year and I just
love it.

Isn't it pretty? Be sure to leave a comment to let her know how you liked her card, and thanks for stopping by again today.

The Jolliest Time of The Year

Today's post is by a dear friend of mine who is going through some tough things right now. She has been on my mind lately, and I ran across this card she sent me last year and thought I would share it with all of you.

Isn't it just adorable? This set is called The Jolliest Time of the Year and is in the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog.

Ellen, thanks for this very adorable card, and just so you know, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sending a big hug your way.

Thanks to all for stopping by today. Hug your family, as often as you can.

It Was Bound To Happen........

I have been really good lately about not throwing critters at you every single day. Well, you knew it had to happen, and today's the day. Merry Crittermas, people.

Don't you just love this stamp set? It is called Merry Crittermas. The snowflakes are from the set Northern Hearts, which is a Hostess only set. You can get your very own right now, check them out in the Holiday Mini Catalog, then call me to order or to schedule your workshop or catalog party.

I stamped and embossed the tree and bunny with Versamark and Black Embossing Powder, then cut them out and popped them up on dimensionals. The snowflakes were embossed with White Embossing Powder. I also used Versamark and Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder on the hill. Colors used are Pear Pizazz, Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Bashful Blue. I added some more bling with Dazzling Diamonds and a Glimmer Brad, also from the Holiday Mini.

So glad you came by today. I appreciate your loyalty. Hugs to all.

Christmas Collage

Ahhh, here it is, November. Can you believe it? Another year almost gone. Unbelievable. and if that isn't enough, my share today is yet another Christmas card. Nothing like speeding through the rest of the year, lol. Nevertheless, it is
time to start making your Christmas cards and this one is a beauty. It is a partial
case from another Demonstrators website, sorry can't remember who, but if it is yours, please let me know so that I can give you credit.

This is a great card that probably took 10 minutes to make, so it is perfect for
using for your Christmas cards for everyone on your list, and the vintage look is
IN! We will be making this card at Kathy's workshop on Nov. 6th in Auburndale. If
you would like to have a workshop where you and your friends make this gorgeous card, just contact me and set a date.

Have a fantastic Monday! Comments are appreciated, as usual.

Christmas Gift Card Holder

WhooHoo! I am jumping all over the calendar this week. Yesterday we were on Thanksgiving, today we are on to Christmas. I found this idea on another Demonstrators blog. It is a gift card holder made with the Two Tags Die. Very simple, cute and easy. Take a look:

We made these at a workshop last week and they were a big hit. We used the Delightful Decorations Stamp Set, punched it out with the ornament punch, added a Rhinestone in the middle and hung the ornament with some of the tinsel from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Then some red grosgrain ribbon to hang the whole thing on the tree. This little gift card holder makes me smile, and the guests
at Melissa's workshop loved it, too.

Thanks again for visiting with me today. Hugs.
