Friends 24/7

While I was playing around with the embossing powders and black and white cardstock for my friend from Curves the other night, she also wanted to see what this image from
Friends 24/7 looked like embossed, so I embossed a couple extra while I was at it and
made this card:

I used, Basic Black, Real Red and Whisper White for this one. Such a classy combination. I do love black and white cards but always want to add a color, so on this one, real red was the way to go.

This will be a make n take on the VC Rocks! Blog soon. Click Here to see it and lots of other make n takes by our extremely talented VC Rocks! members.

Thanks for dropping by. Hugs.

Ornamental Vase

Good Morning! How is everyone this glorious morning? It is going to be another sunny and
hot day with a chance of rain, cuz this is Florida and that is the forcast almost every day, lol.
I hope you have a sunny day, wherever you are, too.

Today I am sharing another card made with the ornament punch. It is a wonderful vase that
someone came up with by not putting the cardstock all the way into the punch. I'm not sure
who first came up with it, but I have seen it around quite a bit lately. It is really a cute idea
and another reason to buy the Ornament Punch in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

I used the stamp set, Friends 24-7. Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry and Whisper White Inks and Cardstocks, Old Olive and Black Stazon Inks, and Old Olive 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon. This was so easy to make and I think it turned out fabulous.

Thanks for coming, see ya tomorrow!

Friends 24-7

While I was hanging around the house this weekend, this is one of the cards I came up
with. I have had this set for quite some time and this is the first card I have made with it, pretty sad, huh? I love birds, so it was a perfect set for me. My mojo was on a short break so I decided to do a partial case of a card from the new 2009-2010 Idea Book and Catalog, page 100. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

I used Soft Suede, Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, Pretty in Pink (flower) and Very Vanilla papers, Soft Suede ink, Kraft Ribbon and a Very Vanilla brad on this card. See ya again soon.
