I (Heart) Owls

Happy Tuesday! Today's project is just too cute. As some of you may know, I love birds and owls are high on my list. So today I used the Fox & Friends clear mount stamp set from the new Occasions Mini Catalog. The images in this set are adorable, AND they have matching Decor Elements that you can decorate with. They aren't just for little ones, either, teens love these little guys. Check
them out today in the Mini and the Decor Elements Catties in my sidebar.

Here is today's project:

I used some retired SU paper, and sorry, I don't remember the name, but it fits this project just
fine. Colors used are Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, and Tempting Turquoise. (sorry it should have been Taken With Teal, but I was at a friends and that's all I had with me)

I also added a Chocolate Chip Button for the drawer pull.

Enjoy your day, and thanks for stopping by.

I made this card last night when I was supposed to be making sure I
have everything ready for my workshop tomorrow. Hopefully I do,
because I looked at the Branch Out set that was out on my desk, and
thought the tree would make a great wreath. Then of course, since I'm
not doing bird cards this week, I had to make the owl into a kitty
again. I used the new Holiday Best Hostess set for the sentiment, but
added, the bird from the Branch Out set to add to the mood. Technically
it's still not a bird card, although I did cheat a little.

Whadaya think? Not sure why the kitty washed out, I did stamp him with
Stazon, but he is still cute. Plus, the ribbon on the top of the wreath
has slipped down, didn't notice until I looked at the posted picture.
Hopefully someone can gleem some inspiration from my mistakes, lol.
Thanks for coming, see ya'll later.

Hello There, Owl

Another ATC, this time made with my favorite little owl from Animal Stories.

Love these little cards and they are perfect for card candy, too. You can add these
as the focal point of a card, or as an embellishment on a scrapbook page. Little pieces of happiness, lol. Try some, I think you will enjoy making them.

I used Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red and Whisper White cardstock, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red and
Olive Green Ink and Olive Green Grosgrain.

Until next time, thanks for stopping in.

The Owl and the Pussycat

Now I know you are wondering what in the world that Title has to do with Stampin' Up!
Well, take a look at this card. I saw this idea on someone's blog awhile back, sorry I don't remember who it was, but turning the owl into a cat was genius! I was going for a clean, simple look, what do you think?

I used one of my favorite stamp sets from the new catty. It is called Animal Stories.
Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Soft Suede and Crushed Curry Cardstock. Soft Suede and Pumpkin Pie Ink, and Pumpkin Pie Ribbon. The Hello sentiment is from the Pendant Park
Stamp Set.

Priceless

Todays post is all about my babies, back when they were babies (and obviously eating some chocolate). They are eighteen and twenty now.

This is a 6x6 scrapbook page that was for a VC Rocks! challenge posted by my wonderful friend Ellen Kemper from Blinkin', Thinkin', & Inkin'. The colors used are Ruby Red, Navy Blue and Sahara Sand. The sets used are Priceless and Animal Stories. The word Priceless is on a pull out journaling tag. The tree limb is hand cut.

I just don't do enough scrapbooking, so I love this kind of challenge. Ellen, do you
have any more for me?
