Eastern Blooms

Today was a beautiful day here in Florida. A cold front came through and there was
actually a cool nip in the air. It only got up to the mid 80's today and it was
absolutely gorgeous! I wish we had more of these days here, but we will take what we
can get. Makes you want to make cards with birds on them, heehee.

Ha! And you thought I was gonna show you another bird card. Not today, nosiree.

Another of my favorite Stampin' Up! sets is Eastern Blooms, and it just doesn't see
enough ink. Here you go.....

See, pretty, huh? I saw these colors together on someone's blog, not sure whose,
unfortunately, and I think she may have used this stamp, too.
I go through so many
blogs daily, that I really need to write down who I was visiting when I see something
awesome that I want to case, or use as inspiration.

The details: Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Kraft Cardstock. Inks: Rich Razzleberry, Chocolate Chip Stampin Write Markers. Extras: Old Olive Grosgrain
Ribbon and Brads.

And just because you have read this all the way through, you have, haven't you? I
am gonna include a picture that I took. This guy was in my
magnolia tree today, thought I would share. Isn't he gorgeous?

I don't know if you have noticed, but I do like me some birds, lol.

Have a fantastic day, thanks for dropping in.

  1. I want an Magnolia Tree with a pretty bird! I have oak trees and sparrows - not very exotic.

I like your Eastern Blooms card - I need to stamp some flowers and get off Halloween projects. Maybe I'll just case your card today... hmmm good idea!

  3. Wow! Is that a Pileated (sp?) woodpecker? We spend part of the winter in Florida, I put out feeders but don't get anything except grackels. Well two sand cranes also! beautiful! Love your hand craft work! Linda
