Just a note to let you know that the new Holiday Mini is LIVE as of August 1! It is absolutely awesome and you can see it in my left sidebar so check it out, you'll be glad you did, but maybe not your wallet, lol.
I do have a couple of ATC's to show you today. I made them for a swap I hosted. They went to the two ladies that did two sets. We only had 11 players, so I wanted to give them a little something extra for their trouble. |I made these two cards and also sent them each a little notebook I made for them. Will post those later.
Hope you like them, they were quick and easy. have a great Thursday!

Kindness Matters
Hi All. Just a quick share today. This card is a fancy fold called a Double Gate Card. I just love the chevron look on the front, plus the Labels Framelits are an elegant addition to it.
Really not sure why the picture is jacked up. Probably user error, lol. Stamp set is Kindness Matters.
Thanks for dropping by. Have a great Monday. Hugs.

Coffee Time with The Open Sea
Hello everyone, and Happy Friday! Today's share is a fun little gift that would have been great for Father's Day, but could be used for any occasion. This one holds some coffee bags. I love coffee, so any chance to
give a gift of coffee, I jump at it. Isn't this too cute?
I got the idea from another demo, and I will update when I remember where I got it, lol. If it's yours, let me know, will ya?

I used The Open Sea and Perk Up as my stamp sets. Soft Suede ink and Crumb Cake Cardstock. I also used some Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, some hemp twine, and the small tag punch. The filling is something every SU demo has loads of. It is the packing paper from a SU order. There are loads of uses for this great paper. Thanks for stopping in today. Hugs,

Father's Day
Hi! Thanks for stopping by today. We had a wonderful day Sunday, just enjoying being together as a family. We had my hubby's favorite meals, which I don't cook often. Stuffed Grape Leaves, Cucumber Yogurt Salad, and for dessert, a Semolina Cake with almonds called Harissa. It is not a quickly prepared meal, but it is delicious.
Hope you had a chance this weekend to join us on the amazing VC Rocks! Blog Hop. I shared the card I made for my hubby in the hop, today I want to share a funny little
gift I made for him. He has a mustache, has ALWAYS had a mustache, probably born with it. I've never
seen him without it. Not sure I'd recognize him, lol.
It's a candy bar wrapper. Chocolate with Almonds, his favorite. I wanted to put a tie on it, but he hates ties. The only one he will wear without fussing, if he can get away with it, is a bolo tie and so I used some Hemp Twine and some retired Hardware to kinda sorta make one. I thing I should have stuck with a regular or bow tie, but it just
wouldn't have been him. The mustache was freehand. I used the sentiment YOU ROCK (my world) that was laying on my desk from the VC blue butted monkeys, lol. The set it is from is eluding my brain at the moment. Typical....
Anyhoo, that's my little share for today. Hope you enjoyed it. Have a great day!

Wedding Dress
Hi. Happy Sunday. Just a quick post for you today. Was checking out a blog that I just love, named Understand Blue by a very talented and funny demonstrator named Lydia F. She was a guest at a wedding shop, and did some videos of some wedding type favors, etc. One of them was a little gift box, inside a
gorgeous wedding dress. I have been working on some things for my daughters friend, to give her some ideas
for her wedding, and thought this would be awesome.
So I set out to find the die, I know it isn't Stampin' Up! Well, I found it, but not only does it use my trusty Big Shot"s Big Brother, but the dies will not fit my Big Shot. What to do? Figure out a way to make it myself.
I first cut a large oval from my retired Oval Frame Die and used it as a template for the bottom of the dress, then hand drew the rest of the dress, punching out the neck with the Wide Oval Punch. It still needs some tweaking, especially on the flat bottom, and a box on the inside to hold the gift, not sure yet which one will fit, but here it is.
I think it turned out ok. Like I said, still needs some tweaking, but it's cute, and made out of only 1/2 of a sheet of Shimmery White card stock. I embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder, and tie a bow with some retired 5/8 Satin in White, then used our Pearls around the neck. I'm thinking, if I make another one, I will use smaller ribbon, maybe 3/8" and leave longer tails on it.
Thanks for looking today. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Betsy's Blossoms in the new In Colors
Hi everyone, I'm back, sorry I haven't posted in a few days. Life gets in the way sometimes.
I received my first order from the new Stampin' Up! catalog. It contained the new In Colors, in the brand new
foam ink pads (which are AWESOME). and the Betsy's Blossoms set. I decided to do a card using these new colors all at once. Well, needed some help trying to figure out how to put it all together, so went to Stampin' Connection, and found the perfect card by a Hilary Smith, another demo. I tweaked it a tad to make it my own.
Voila:
Cute, huh? The new In Colors for 2012-2014 are: Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse,
Primrose Petals and Gumball Green.
Hope you have a great Friday. Thanks for stopping in.
