Christmas Gift Card Holder

WhooHoo! I am jumping all over the calendar this week. Yesterday we were on Thanksgiving, today we are on to Christmas. I found this idea on another Demonstrators blog. It is a gift card holder made with the Two Tags Die. Very simple, cute and easy. Take a look:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

We made these at a workshop last week and they were a big hit. We used the Delightful Decorations Stamp Set, punched it out with the ornament punch, added a Rhinestone in the middle and hung the ornament with some of the tinsel from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Then some red grosgrain ribbon to hang the whole thing on the tree. This little gift card holder makes me smile, and the guests
at Melissa's workshop loved it, too.

Thanks again for visiting with me today. Hugs.

Gratitude for Autumn Splendor

Today's post is a Thanksgiving card that I absolutely love. First, the Stampin' Up!
set, Autumn Splendor, is a gorgeous fall set. I love the beautiful leaves in it. Second, I used the Day of Gratitude set for the sentiment, and the new Decorative Label punch to add interest. Third, the background is the amazing Presto Patterns DSP, which when you add color, you get a gorgeous emboss resist look. Lastly, I finished it off with a button, just cuz. Lookie:

What do you think? Isn't it pretty? If you want to make this, just let me know, and
we can make it together. I just love this time of year, even though we don't usually get much color down here in the Sunshine State. Lucky for me, I can make my own colors with Stampin' Up!

Thanks for visiting today. Now go stamp something.

Another Sweet Shoppe Treat

Ah, today I have another sweet treat to share with you. When I got this, I thought it had some of those little marshmellow hamburgers in them, and I thought, what a cute idea. However, that wasn't what was in the box. Take a look and see if you can figure it out.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Isn't this cute? Now, can you tell me what is in the box?

It is buttons! I wouldn't have thought to use them, and what papercrafter wouldn't love this sweet treat?

Thanks to Amanda Coughlin, again for this treat. I'm not sure I will be opening this one either, lol. Too pretty.

Thanks to you for stopping in today. Comments are, as always, appreciated.

Are You Ready for Some Football?

I needed a card for a friends grandson, who is into football and likes the color green. I decided to completely case a card made by my friend and Stampin' Up! sister, Gail Trask. I received this cute card in a VC Rocks! swap. It was the perfect
card for him. He loved it.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

What do you think? Great masculine or kid card. Perfect for this time of year.

Hope you enjoyed today's card, and thanks to Gail for the original.

See you again soon.

Sweet Shoppe Treats

Hello all, thanks for stopping in today. I was not able to attend the Stampin' Up! convention this year. My upline, Amanda Coughlin, missed it this year, too. However, she has been giving us a taste of what it was like by sharing some sweet treats with us, kinda like they did at convention. Lookie:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This is a container she made filled with sugar free candies, lol. The reason they are sugar free is because the candies are rolled up pieces of the new In Color ribbons. For me, and my diet, that is one of the best containers of candy I have
ever received. It is too pretty to open, so I am just showing it off as is.

I will have another sweet treat to show you again in a day or two. Now if you really feel like you need to, you could make this with candy for your Halloween goodies. Colors used are the new In Colors, don't you just love them? The stamp used is a stamp from convention that says: Love what you do, Share what you love.
It is in the heart of all Stampin' Up! demonstrators. It is what we do.

Have a great day.

Come to Bethlehem Christmas Card

I had a chance to play with this beautiful Stampin' Up! set called Come to Bethlehem.
This image has such a serene look about it, and it just makes you feel good to look at it. Here is my card:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Isn't it pretty? I used Night of Navy, Not Quite Navy and Basic Gray to sponge the background after embossing the image. Then cut and layered it onto Basic Black followed by a layer of Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, and Night of Navy. I am happy with the way it turned out.

Thanks for dropping by, please leave a comment and let me know what you think. Bye!

Fifth Avenue Anniversary

I'm taking another little break today from the Thanksgiving theme and giving you an
Anniversary card made with the Stampin' Up! set, Fifth Avenue Floral. I just love this
set. One of my favorites, especially using the Floating Reinker technique. Here is today's share:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I made several of these roses a few months ago, and luckily came across them the other night when I needed to make this card. WhooHoo! I love the colors, Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink, and I'd sure like to tell you which ones I used on the Rose, but my old mind just doesn't work that way, lol. Hope you like it, just the same. Have a great day!

Christmas Fun

Today's project was a blast to make. I got to play with the tinsel in the Holiday Mini...SQUEEEAAAAALLLL!!!! I actually thought I didn't want any of this, but it is absolutely
awesome, and sooooo cute. Lookie:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I used Baja Breeze, Real Red, Whisper White and Wild Wasabi on this cute card. Stamp sets used (all Stampin' Up!, of course) are Tags Til Christmas and Jolly Ole St. Nick, but from the Holiday Mini.

Tomorrow is the big day, our Holiday Stamp Camp. We still have a few spots open, so if you have nothing to do, please join us. Here is the information:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I am really happy with the way everything turned out. Now for some specifics. The colors, etc., may not be exactly the same, although most will. The CD calendar will be in a smaller size, and you will love it cuz it is really cute. All twelve months have been planned out and I absolutely love them. There will be more bling on some of the items, just waiting for it to come in, for instance on the top of the Eiffel Tower, and on the snowflakes on the first page of the calendar. The File Folder note pad holder will include a matching pen and a decorated 4" paperclip.

All in all, I think you will love these projects as much as we do. If you would like to join Amy and I for our very first Stamp Camp, please email me or leave me a comment and I will get back to you ASAP. We have limited space, so contact me soon.

Details: Date is Saturday October 23rd from 1pm to 5pm. Place: Valrico, Florida
Price: $25 for 5 complete, ready to give, gifts.

Hope you can find the time to join us. Contact me for directions. Have a great day.

Build A Bear Cheerleader

Don't you just love Stampin' Up!'s Build A Bear Workshop stamps and dies? They are the most fun, and kids young and old alike, love them. Today's post is a bookmark card, of course, (cuz anytime I can promote reading with children, I do) for a little
girl who is a cheerleader and their colors are Black and Red, so I made our little BAB into a cheerleader complete with pom poms.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Isn't she a cutie? I hope she likes this little card, and will make use of the removable bookmark.

Have a great day! Please leave a comment, I'm beginning to think I'm here all by myself, lol.

Autumn Harvest

Today's post is yet another Fall card, although it is missing something, not sure what, maybe a sentiment or something, lol. I will finish it soon, but just in case, I don't get around to it, I wanted to show it to you. It was another reject from the Curves, what should we make dilemma. same colors as the other three, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive, you just can't go wrong.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Sorry for the short post today. Lots to do. thanks for coming by again today. Lots of cute things to come, just have to finish them up. Have a wacky Wednesday! Hugs,

Princess Party Invitation

I had a friend ask for a party invitation using the retired set, Pretty Princess and
this is what I came up with, I sure hope she likes it.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It is a pocket card, with the party information on the pull out tag. Not sure if this
is what she is looking for, but she wanted pink, so I certainly gave her that, lol. Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, and Regal Rose fit the bill quite nicely. I also used Daffodil Delight and Certainly Celery.

Have a lovely Tuesday, comments, as usual, are appreciated.

Pacific Tess

Playing with Totally Tess a few days ago, and wanting to make a birthday card, I came up with this card. It is pretty much a case of one I made months ago, but I changed up the colors and made a gift to go in her hand.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This stamp set is so much fun to play with, cuz she can be a demo, or just a lady
delivering or receiving a gift, or maybe someone who loves to stamp or scrapbook.
Colors used are Basic Black, Pacific Point, and Whisper White.

Hope you enjoyed today's Totally Tess card. If you would like a Tess of your own, contact me today.

Thanks for joining me today. Have a great day!

Paisley Pumpkin

Hello and Happy Friday! Today's post is the last project we will be making this weekend. I used Real Red and Pumpkin Pie and The Paisley Print Stamp Set by Stmapin' Up! I found this card, and changed it slightly, on Stampin' Connection, a site by Stampin' Up! for their Demonstrators. It is a great place to share and learn. Ask me for more information
on how you can join my team and be part of this great site.

Here is today's card:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I really like this clean and simple Thanksgiving card. We have some extra seats
available this weekend, so if you would like to come, just give me a call.

Have a great weekend, I know I will. Thanks again for supporting my little blog.

Hi Stampers, thanks for coming by today. My post today consists of one of the projects we will be making at this weekends Hostess Club. It is a box of votive
candles. Lookie:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I used Peach Parfait and Pear Pizazz on this box and stamped the candles with the
Trendy Trees set by Stampin' Up! The sentiment is from Day of Gratitude. I hope my club likes it.

Notably Ornate on Parade

Today's post is a card we will be making at our Hostess Club this weekend. It is
my first time using the Notably Ornate set, and my first time using Poppy Parade
card stock. I really like how it turned out.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The scallop on the bottom is made using the Bitty Bat Punch. I found the idea and a tutorial on Glenda Mollet's blog.

I just love how this turned out and love the new way of using the Bitty Bat Punch.
Thanks, Glenda, for showing us this one.

Thanks to you all for stopping in. Have a great day!

In Full Bloom

Here are yet more cards I made while at Curves the other day. One lady saw a retired set I had in a box for sale and wanted a couple of cards made with it. I only had the two choices in colors, the one I was using for the Breast Cancer Awareness month and the Fall card. Here are the two cards I made with these colors. Luckily I also had my aqua painter with me.

Hope you have enjoyed today's post. Thanks for stopping by.

Roses In Winter

While at Curves the other day, I had a few ladies order cards from me so that the money could go to Breast Cancer Research. This one needed a Sympathy card for a young woman who passed away. It was a hard card for me to make as this young woman was the same age as my daughter. My heart goes out to this family, as I cannot imagine what they are going through. Here is the card I made for her:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Pear Pizazz, Whisper White and Certainly Celery are the colors used in this card. The stamp set is a retired set from Stampin' Up! called
Roses in Winter.

thanks for coming by today. Hug the ones you love.

Autumn Harvest.........

Hello ladies, it is almost the weekend, how wonderful is that? Today's post is a card we made at Curves this week. I wanted a simple but cute card that could
be either Halloween or Thanksgiving and this hit the spot. We changed up the words and punches used to turn it into a Thanksgiving card for those ladies who didn't want Halloween.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I am happy to say that we raised $70 towards Breast Cancer research with these cards and the Hope one from my earlier post. I know it isn't much, but every bit helps and I love to give something back. Thanks so much to the ladies at Curves for allowing me
to join them in the fight against breast cancer.

Thanks to all of you, too, for supporting me on my blog. I truly appreciate you.

Hope....

Today I would like to share a card with you that I am making with the ladies at Curves this week. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so our Curves is all dressed in pink, and we are doing some fund raising for the Breast Cancer walk in Lakeland in a couple of
weeks. Here is the card:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This card is made with a retired Stampin' Up! set called Hope. It is in Whisper White, Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink. I also used the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder on the Whisper White.

Thank you for stopping in today. Please come visit again soon.

SHOP NOW

Now on to today's post.

I was playing with Stampin' Up!s awesome Autumn Harvest set this week and I made four
different cards with the pumpkins in the set, all using the same color combination of Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, Old Olive, and Very Vanilla. Here is the first card of the bunch:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Now, I was going to use this as a card at Curves this week and didn't have enough soft Suede for the card base, so I changed it to black. The retired ribbon is attached to a
pull out that has the Trick or Treat Scary and Sweet sentiment from Grateful Greetings on it.

This was not the card I chose for Curves this week, but it is cute, so I thought I would share.

As always, I appreciate you looking in on my little blog today. Thanks so much for
spending a few minutes of your day with me. Hugs,

More Autumn Harvest

Hello. Just a short post today. It is the weekend, Whoohoo! I am busily trying to get ready for my hostess club this coming weekend, and do some much needed chores around home, so I am posting another Autumn Harvest card today. I really love how this one turned out.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I made this to make with the ladies at Curves this week, but is was a little too involved for a 10 minute card, so I didn't use it, it took four tries to get the one I did use, lol. Sometimes that is just the way it goes.

Have a great weekend, see ya on Monday.

Paisley Print Thank You Notes

Good Morning, Ladies. As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I really want my customers to

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I used the Paisley Prints and Grateful Greetings stamp sets by Stampin' Up! Colors used
are Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, Always Artichoke and Whisper White.

If you would like one of these lovelies, along with some awesome Stampin' Up! products, just place an order with me this month.

Snowman Treat Bag

Yeah, I know, it's only October and I should be concentrating on Halloween or Thanksgiving, but as I was blog hopping the other day, I came across this little
guy on someone's blog, (sorry I can't remember who, I really need to start writing this stuff down,if he is yours, please let me know so I can give you credit)and just had to case him. I think he would be great for any of
those little gifts you need to come up with on short notice. This demonstrator had
him stuffed with all the makings for a cup of hot chocolate, including the peppermint candy canes. Isn't he cute?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I really love him. I adore snowmen, and since we don't see any real ones here in Florida, this is about as close as I will get.

Thanks for coming by today. Comments are appreciated.

Greeting Card Kids

Today's post is a card I made that I am just not happy with, but sometimes the mojo is just not with me. I started off good with the blackboard and little Susie from Greeting Card Kids with her apple for the teacher, but then, I just couldn't make it
work. Sometimes that happens, and today you get to see the results. Regardless, of the
looks of this card, Stampin' Up! did an awesome job on this stamp set, the images are just too, too, cute.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I hope to come back on Monday with something more up to par, and maybe a remake of this card.

Have a great weekend, and thanks for dropping in.
